You will have a dedicated staging lane to jump to the front of the pack. This option is great for high horsepower cars that have minimal cooling abilities or need to get to the line in a more timely fashion for optimum performance. Your pit area will also be separate from the General Admission participants for more privacy. VIP Racers will be given a VIP swag pack that includes a VIP T-Shirt, VIP Windshield Banner, and Early Venue Access
\\ARE KIDS WELCOME
YES, ABSOLUTELY! Kids under the age of 12 will be allowed to spectate free of charge. They may be up past their bedtime but they'll never forget the night of racing they were able to experience with family and friends.
\\WILL THERE BE FOOD
There absolutely will be. We'll have a few different food trucks on site to provide a good variety of grub.
We cannot stress this enough, PLEASE CARPOOL. We want everyone to enjoy as much time as possible experiencing the event and not sitting in long parking lines. The less cars we have to park, the more time everyone is able to enjoy the event. To help encourage carpooling, there will be a $10.00 parking fee (cash only).
\\WHAT KIND OF CARS WILL BE RACING
We expect to see a wide variety of cars at our events. We're happy to host most any vehicle as long as it can safely make high speed passes. Our core racers are likely to be American Muscle Cars, Imports, Drag Cars, Euro's and likely a few Exotics.
\\WHAT ARE THE DRIVER AND PASSENGER REQUIREMENTS
The only real requirement is that drivers must be 16 years and older with a valid drivers license and a parent or guardian signed waiver. Passengers must be at least 18 years and older with a signed waiver.
As far as we're concerned, that's none of our business and we have no clue what you're talking about.
\\WILL MY E.T. BE DISPLAYED
NO! This is a LEGAL street racing event. The only statistic that will be displayed are win lights at each distance as well as your MPH at the 1/2 mile mark if you choose to go that far.
\\HOW ARE ROLL RACES STARTED
Roll races will begin just like they do on the street, 3 honks of a horn. Roll racers will leave our starting line on the green light, match an agreed upon speed with their competition and begin their race at the third honk. Roll racers are to negotiate who honks and their beginning roll speed prior to the racing. You can start from any roll but you HAVE to begin slowing down after the 1/2 mile mark. This means, the higher the roll, the less racing you get to do.
\\ENTRY & SECURITY
Participants and spectators will have separate entrances. Please see the event map and follow our signs on site to be directed to your appropriate entrance. ALL spectators will be required to sign waivers upon entry. Any bag being carried into the event will be subject to search by staff to ensure a safe event.
Booze and big power do NOT mix. Unfortunately, we will not be able to permit alcoholic beverages on the premise. This includes the parking area. Anyone caught with alcohol will be asked to leave and will be subject to trespassing charges if he or she does not do so immediately. This purely a safety issue and we thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
We don't control the weather and in the event of a storm, there's not much we can do besides try and wait it out. With the cost of hosting this event we will not be able to offer refunds for weather delays or cancellations. In the event of a cancellation, we will do our best to reschedule the event but a rescheduled date is NOT guaranteed.
\\THESE ITEMS ARE ALLOWED
Feel free to bring lawn or camping chairs. We won't have any grandstands or bleachers on site. Coolers with beverages (non-alcoholic) and snacks are also allowed but if you're not feeling that soggy old ham and cheese, check out the food trucks that will be on site.
\\THESE ITEMS ARE PROHIBITED
We are big supporters of our Second Amendment Rights but we will not be allowing any participant or spectator to bring a weapon into the event. This includes, guns, knives, cannons, shivs, shanks, slingshots, blowguns, crossbows, hand grenades, rocket launchers, bazookas, flame throwers, or anything else that may put someone in danger.
Act of Speed is a NON-REFUNDABLE event. Racer registrations can be sold or transferred to another party if needed by our customer service team. Registrations cannot be transferred within 1 week of the event date unless otherwise stated. If something comes up, please reach out to us but know that we will be very busy during the week leading up to your event date. We will do anything we can to accommodate but please try to plan accordingly.
